Went to Ruby Tuesdays in Mason City with my girlfriend & the food was great! The problem is that the waitress was either new or didn't care because we got two of there delicious biscuits on a big plate while we waited for our food & watched other waitresses carry plates full of them to other couples. Also my girlfriends fork was dirty & the table was a little sticky. I would give them another shot because the food was great!

Food is good enough for a chain but wait staff is awful. Ate here on Monday and had a great bartender. Came here today (Tuesday) and bartender has been to busy talking trash about the cooks with the front of house manager to even give me bad service. Its like lord of the flies in here with the kids running everything.

The general manager doesn't manage very well if at all. He has no control of his employees and is extremely rude to customers. I don't even know how he still has a job.

I loved the extensive salad bar. It was clean, well-tended to and and chock full of options. I was there at lunch and did a salad bar/soup combination for under $10. I tasted my friend's zucchini sliders and sweet potato fries - both yummy!

Horrible. Like Applebee's or Perkins. Tv dinners are better than this. Service acted like it was first day on job, all of them, salad bar was mediocre and food was out of a microwave. Got spaghetti squash for hubs and shrimp for me. Wouldn't go back. Ever.

Went here expecting so much more, I have heard good things about this chain but this was my first (and last) visit. The salad bar sucked, the food wasnt anything great, it was good but for the price I paid I expected better, the waitress didnt even check on us and messed up my order. Like I said the food was not that bad but for what they charge it was not worth it, save yourself the time and skip this one.

I hadn't eaten at a Ruby Tuesday before, so I didn't know what to expect. if I had, I wouldn't have gone there for a special meal. I'll take it one item at a time. Appitizers: 4-Way Sampler Appetizer: Pretty good. Included chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, hot wings (we ordered mild), and Southwestern wraps. Came with three dipping sauces and some celery sticks. We would order this again. Dumpling Appetizer: 5 large potstickers. Excellent! Tender and flavorful, with a nice crunch on the browned side. We would go back just for these. Highly recommended. Here's where things started going downhill... Entrees: The Petite Sirloin Steak and Lobster Tail. The steak was about half the size of a pack of cigarettes. Tiny, but tender and delicious. The lobster tail was so tiny (only 3 bites), we thought maybe it was a large crayfish. Definitely not big enough to leave its mother. Well prepared. This meal was not worth $19!! Maybe half that. That giant plate with those little, tiny pieces of food. It was kind of pathetic. We felt ripped off... and hungry. The 1/2 Rack of Asian Ribs and Shrimp Skewer was another disappointment. The ribs were regular barbecue ribs that had a light brushing of Asian sauce and a few sesame seeds. Southern ribs and Asian ribs are two different things, and should have tasted different. The ribs were nice and tender, but the seasoning was all wrong for what we ordered. The three "jumbo" shrimp were medium sized, and were not seasoned. Side dishes: The salad bar was quite good. Lots of fresh choices. The sugar snap peas were from frozen. They were limp and soggy. The white cheddar mashed potatoes were too salty to eat. The baked potato was mealy. Desserts: The New York Cheesecake was very good. The slices were about 3" high. We got it without the blackberry topping, because my dinner partner doesn't like blackberries. I would go back for the cheesecake. The Tiramisu should have been on the drink menu! The flavor was good, but I had to drive, so we brought it home to eat later. Overall, we were disappointed, but we would go back for potstickers and cheesecake. Maybe the salad bar.

Great service from Craig and the salad bar is great. I was surprised at how good the steak was. We will be back!

Food was awesome. Our waitress was definitely on top of her game with the service she provided. I am not the biggest fan of chain restaurants but I can make an exception when I come here.
